Christian Eriksen (Tottenham Hotspur)

Eriksen is undoubtedly one of Tottenham’s most important players. He has been a crucial member of Mauricio Pochettino’s team for more than half a decade – netting 45 goals in 193 league appearances and adding a further 56 assists in that time.However, the Dane is stalling on a new deal as it is understood he wants to win silverware as he enters the peak years of his career.7

David Silva (Manchester City)

Silva is one of Manchester City’s greatest ever players and he is getting better with age.Last season the midfielder signed a new deal to keep him Etihad-bound until 2020. However, he is now 33 years old and a new deal is unlikely.7

Another player who is out of contract in 2020 is Manchester United midfielder Matic.The Serb is breathing a new lease of life under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following a bad patch of form under Jose Mourinho.7

Fernandinho (Manchester City)

Fernandinho has once again shown how important he is to Pep Guardiola’s side this season.He is one of the few players in the team who is an automatic pick for the Spaniard – which goes to show how crucial he is to the success of the side.7

Toby Alderweireld (Tottenham Hotspur)

Alderweireld has been linked with a move away from Spurs consistently in recent transfer windows.Tottenham deal-makersextended his current contract to 2020in December but he now has a 25million release clause which can only be activated in this summer’s window.7
