Jason Puncheon is unlikely to ever play for Huddersfield Town again after being involved in a furious bust-up with boss Jan Siewert, according to reports.The on-loan Crystal Palace midfielder has been told to stay away from the Terriers’ Canalside training base and is not expected to play for the club again.2

Puncheon’s brief spell at Huddersfield appears to be over already

According to the Daily Mail, the row came after Puncheon was withdrawn after just 20 minutes during the defeat to relegation rivals Newcastle United last weekend.Tommy Smith picked up a red card and Siewert brought on full back Florent Hadergjonaj, but the 32-year-old did not take the decision well.A furious exchange followed and the German boss excluded the former Southampton midfielder from the squad to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Tuesday night and he was not in the matchday squad for the trip to Brighton on Saturday.Victory at the John Smith’s Stadium was Huddersfield’s first under Siewert after six defeats, moving them to 14 points, 13 from safety.2
